Description

Spanish Cava has been lost in the mist of Prosecco’s world takeover in the last decade… we think it’s time to revisit and remind our customers that Cava like Dibon, is more often made in the classic Champagne method with aging on lees in the bottle. So, more complexity, palate weight and finer bubbles. Over 100-years of winemaking in the Penedès region of north-eastern Spain, combining traditional methods with state-of-the-art technology, the Tetas family produce outstanding Cava. I have visited their impressive 60-hectare estate... which instantly speaks to family and the quality they produce. Generational ownership and no debt... hence the incredibly accessible price of their wines. Get connected with Dibon Cava and you’ll be drinking benchmark bubbles at the price.

Smells

Crusty bread, tropical fruits, baked apple and freshly squeezed lemon.

Tastes

Creamy in the centre with fine bubbles. An elegant palate with fruit salad, baked apple and crusty sourdough. Aged on lees in bottle in the traditional method… it’s delicious and more serious bubbles than its price peers… with nutty Champagne like complexity. Enjoy often and fresh.
