From the prestigious Cremant appellation of Languedoc Roussillon, this classy Triple Gold Medal Rose Champagne alternative… spends 12 months on its lees in bottle (a la Champagne) before disgorgement. Pouring an attractive peachy salmon colour, that it has been recognised with a swag of awards internationally, was unsurprising to our tasting panel, who collectively thought it well over-delivered on price.
Smells
A whiff of strawberry shortbread with plum, biscuit, and wildflowers… you’re aromatically sold.
Tastes
Just slightly off dry to taste, fulsome and textured, with an elegant bead and clean acidity providing focus for the pure fruit flavours and shortbread, biscuit infused mid to back palate. An everyday alternative for Rose Champagne drinkers… or a sophisticated alternative for local bubbly lovers. Great drinking with salmon canapes, seared Tuna, creamy cheeses.
