Description
Kumeu are arguably New Zealand's best Chardonnay producers and now they are extending their portfolio to include a Crémant style Rose. Basically, a sparkling wine made using the traditional method made from Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes, resulting in a deliciously dry and perfectly pink rose.
Smells
with a little air the perfume fills the air, aromas of strawberries and cream, a potpourri of dried petals, a touch of cream of soda, watermelon, and candyfloss.
Tastes
a delicate style that oozes red berry fruit flavours, strawberries, raspberries, and a hint of cranberries. The effervescence is mouth-filling and gives the sensation your tastebuds are dancing. True to Kumeu’s tradition, a superb example of a sparkling rose, that will make any special occasion even better, or turn all everyday moments into magical ones. Drinking well now through 2025m, serve with cheese or your favourite canapes.
