Description

This deliciously vibrant and DRY Sparkling Rosé is dressed to impress in its bottle/label/capsule livery… some might call it Champagne looks. All befitting its explosive mousse defining a creamy textural palate of ripe strawberry and raspberry infused with cinnamon, nutmeg, and shortbread. It impressed Wine Spectator (America’s preeminent wine magazine judging 10’s of thousands of wines annually) to rate it 92/100. Fine Wine Delivery customers have chimed in with 36 reviews averaging close to 5/5! Rosé bubbles are perfect drinking summer or winter… daytime or pre & post dinner. The Rosé influence delivers more satisfying flavours, elevated by the creamy mousse, bubbles and crisp dryness. Predominately Pinot Noir with a smaller Chardonnay component adding structure and a touch of richness. The fruity base wine undergoes secondary fermentation with extended aging on lees building richness. This takes place in tank to bring a Prosecco like vibrancy, but unlike many Prosecco… “McBride Sisters Hawkes Bay Sparkling Rosé Brut” is cleansing and deliciously DRY!

Smells

Delicate perfumed floral and fruit aromas titillate the senses with wild raspberries, cranberries and a rose petal lift giving way to enticing vanilla shortbread.

Tastes

Ripe strawberry, raspberry and a touch of peach… infused with cinnamon, nutmeg and shortbread. The creamy texture and explosive mousse, all adding charm... with hints of lemon zest driving the crisp, dry finish. The time on lees adds toasty charm. It will enhance conviviality whatever time of day or night you serve it… even better with friends and nibbles.

Very enjoyable sparkling rose. So good I got another box! Not too dry or sweet. Great to share with friends.

5th May 2024 | Kara Coombes

This is one of the nicest bubbles I have ever had. Perfect

2nd May 2024 | Donna Telfer

Fantastic drop, that my friends love, and cannot believe how good it is for the price. Like so many others I ordered more. Additionally the team at FWD are so helpful honest and spot on with their advice

13th April 2024 | Sarah

Wow, just wow! Love the berry fruitiness, creamy bubbles and dry finish. Great value.

11th April 2024 | Kevin Webb

Great buy. Love the crispness and mouth feel. A fruity blend suitable for all occasions.

10th April 2024 | Heaven

A fine drop. Crisp and fruity, with a nice dry finish. Was worried it might be too sweet, but pleasantly surprised with the balance and zest. Great for any occasion, will definitely get some more for the cellar.

10th April 2024 | Stether

Outstanding value for money. Light strawberries, Turkish delight perfume, and lovely soft mouth- feel from persistent fine bubbles. Really enjoying this wine

9th April 2024 | Penny Prestidge

Initially ordered 6 bottles, because, what the heck for under $11! Have ordered 6 more as it is incredible value for money, and not overly sweet - yum, highly recommend!

9th April 2024 | Kirsten Greenwell

After the 1st sip of this wine I immediately ordered another dozen...delicious

9th April 2024 | Lesley

Clean dry finish.Great drinking on any occasion especially at this price point

9th April 2024 | Kevin Glover

What a bonus to find this on FWD, I bought 6 to try and have now ordered another 12. It is a very pleasant wine with lovely fruity flavours and satisfying mouth feel. It is an easy drinking wine for any time of the day, but does has higher alcohol than most bubbly wines.

9th April 2024 | Vivien Jones

Outstanding value for money, my friends were very impressed, shall certainly order more

9th April 2024 | Louise

Good Mousse, very fine bead with a medium Salmon hue and great berry flavours. As good as some French (non-Champagne) bubbles.

8th April 2024 | Allan Hansen

I shared my first bottle of this wine with my sister and we were both taken with its clean dry taste. There were notes of berry fruit and yet a hint of citrus making it stand out from other dry sparkling rose wines we have tried. An elegant addition to my cellar.

8th April 2024 | Jean Pugh

I really trust the guys at FWDC and when they tell me this bubbles is “Very good” I ordered a dozen straight off. Just about to order more as this beautifully presented Hawke’s Bay Brut Rose is divine and so over delivers on price point - a total crowd pleaser!

8th April 2024 | Andrea Lewis

Fantastic value for money easy enjoyable drinking

8th April 2024 | JOHN MCFADZEAN

Worried when first tried and started sweet but then finished dry. Front end sweetness is superb fruit that really lifts the wine and the wonderfully crisp finish lingers long. Have to admit Jeff was right and we will buy more!

Amazing value for money and tastes great

8th April 2024 | Bella

8th April 2024 | Jennifer Copeland

Just had a family wedding, so lots of visitors popping in - the McBride Sisters Sparkling Rose was delicious, thoroughly enjoyed by all who were lucky enough to try it. Thanks Jeff.

8th April 2024 | Kay Putt

Fabulous quality for the price; and you'd be happy to pay more! Lovely dry sparkling Rose that if you didn't know the purchase price you could easily be convinced to pay up to 3 x as much. Great with nibbles and pasta.. or just on a lovely sunny Autumn afternoon.

8th April 2024 | Kate Potter

A very nice tasting sparkling Rose and at that price is a 4-star buy.

8th April 2024 | Mark Bennett

Very morish and dry as I prefer

8th April 2024 | Helen Fuscic

Very nice but need to have it chilled. So don’t pour too much, and keep the bottle in the fridge. Just top up often. Great for leisurely lunches with good company. Easy to drink too much!

8th April 2024 | Paul Khor

Lovely dry but full-bodied bubbly for lunch or early evening. Great value

8th April 2024 | Jan Bilton

Not quite to my taste as I like my bubbly super crisp and dry but for the price I think you can’t go wrong.

8th April 2024 | Jo Whittingham

Absolutely an amazing 'drop' that delivers on its promise! Incredible opportunity - buy a case you won't reget it!

8th April 2024 | Jane Wimsett

This great bubbly at an unbelievable price. I have ordered a second dozen and friends I shared the bubbles with immediately ordered a dozen also.

8th April 2024 | Steve Bowker

Move over MAFS! There’s a new McBride in town! Now, normally in life I tend to be the bridesmaid, never the bride, but on Tight Tuesday I thought I’d buy a few bottles of this sparkling rose due to its ridiculously low price. And what a very pleasant surprise that was! I was on to a winner! Normally at a wedding I’m in the scrum tripping over my feet, elbowing my “competitors” and I still fail to catch the bouquet, but this time, and with hardly a dent on my credit card, like the Phoenix I rose; not only did I grab that bouquet, but with this little baby cradled in my claws, I bagged the metaphorical groom as well! McBride Sisters Sparkling Brut Rose is a win on all counts! Not only is it delish, it’s also a great bang for your buck! So if you’re like me and would like a little win once in a while, grab a case, get your friends together and toast to the deal of the decade! Bag a McBride and don’t ever feel like the bridesmaid again (until you’ve run out). Go on! Go now! Run to the altar (Fine Wine Delivery) before you miss out on this absolute bargain!

8th April 2024 | Tracy

I was very pleasantly surprised at just how good this is, and at $10.99 a bottle it's a steal.

8th April 2024 | Paul coles

Looks and delivers as a well made and morish product. Dry finish a bonus.

8th April 2024 | Greig Duncan

This was, as described, a dry Rose, with very pleasant overall taste. Not the light more subtle taste of quality champagne, but certainly very drinkable and excellent value for money

8th April 2024 | Margaret Drew

The McBride Sisters Sparkling Rosē stunningly impressed. Being more of a dry sparkling drinker this wine has all that appeal and more, The colour gives off that lingering summer glow that we all desire. The tasting notes talk about raspberries, cranberries, strawberries and juicy peach. The complexity is definitely there. The dryness of this makes for an excellent experience. I am more than happy to bring this out to toast any occasion.

8th April 2024 | David

Superb value and extremely good drop. Curious about the label? Black owned? Women owned?

8th April 2024 | Maggie Hill

A great little pink bubbles, quite dry but a delightful afternoon drink especially at the special price.
