Description
Château Corconnac is located in Saint-Laurent-Médoc, in the Haut-Médoc of Bordeaux, owned by Fabienne and Phillippe Pairault, who also own Chateau Teynac in Saint-Julien. This Cru Bourgeois is a blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon and 40 % Merlot . The wine is aged for 12 months in French oak barrels.
Smells
Juicy blackcurrants, blackberries and fruitcake with a touch of cedar.
Tastes
Dark berries and plums combine with spice and woody notes to ensure a very pleasing palate. Smooth, cheek hugging tannins, lead into a long leisurely finish. Enjoy now with red meats and hard cheese through to 2030.
