An historic estate with the first vines planted in the 16th century. One of the better-known Crus Bourgeois of the region, located close to the vineyards of Margaux. The property was acquired in 1999 by the Cordier Family, owner of Chateau Talbot, a Grand Cru Classe of St Julien. They have earned a reputation for producing deeply expressive wines that combine Left Bank structure with velvety Right Bank charm. The 2022 vintage reflects the warmth of the year with opulence, energy, and impeccable balance.

Seductive and layered, the nose opens with ripe blackcurrant, blueberry, and dark cherry, enriched by notes of cedar, cigar box, and gravel

Full-bodied and sleek, the palate reveals a generous core of dark fruit—blackberry, cassis, and plum—wrapped in firm yet fine-grained tannins. There's a classic Médoc backbone of minerality and freshness, complemented by nuances of dark chocolate, toasted oak, and forest floor. The finish is long, precise, and savory, with just the right tension between ripeness and structure.
