Description
Chateau Grand Plantey is located in the heart of the Entre-Deux Mers area, in Soussac village, 30km south east of St-Emilion. The estate has 40ha planted in clay and limestone soil, with 4ha deciated to the white grapes of Bordeaux. Their 2021 vintage is a graceful and cooler-climate expression of Bordeaux, marked by freshness, finesse, and subtle complexity.
Smells
Bright red cherry and raspberry notes rise from the glass, interwoven with hints of violet, wet stone, and a whisper of green peppercorn.
Tastes
medium-bodied with a silky texture, the wine shows red currant, pomegranate, and subtle herbaceous undertones. Fine acidity and gentle tannins create a clean, mineral-driven finish with a touch of spice and elegance. Enjoy now through to 2028 with red meats and firm cheese.
