Description

2022 is the year for those who love a more boisterous Bordeaux style, and this Chateau Tour De Perrigal Superieur is a highlight. With great fruit as well as structure, generosity and mouth feel. Deeply coloured with plush black currant, plum and dark chocolate flavours unravelling in an irresistible Bordeaux Red bargain! Although it’s so charming now… it will continue to evolve through 2026-2028, so if you leave a lazy few bottles in a dark place, you will be rewarded further.

Smells

Aromas of bramble, red currants, cranberries, lifted herbals with hints of salt and pepper and a saline undercurrent.

Tastes

A fresh, juicy style with plush fruit initially, moderate concentration levels, lacking a tad of depth but well structured with oodles of fruit and with moreish, soft tannins. This offers the perfect BBQ wine and for the price, its a wonderful entry to the world of Bordeaux red wines. The recommended serving temperature is 15-17 degrees.

We taste, rate & guarantee every wine we sell.
