Description
Pouring a striking ink-black in the glass, you know this wine is not going to a retiring wallflower. And so, its proof, evident by the smoky oak, dark liquorice and cherry fruits looming from the glass with luxurious intent. The palate is a touch off-dry, as is the American predilection, but this only adds to the sense of luxury and hedonism. Hints of smoky bacon and dark plums carry the soft finish.
