From the very heart of Chianti Classico, Tenuta Sant'Alfonso is a stellar showcase of what Sangiovese can achieve when grown in the right soils and treated with care. The clay-rich soils of the estate lend themselves to a wine of depth, intensity, and elegance, producing ripe, concentrated fruit with beautifully fine tannins and lifted aromatics. A year in oak has brought structure and complexity, framing the fruit without overpowering it. The balance here—tannin, acid, oak, and fruit—is spot on, making this a serious yet supremely enjoyable single-vineyard expression of Sangiovese. Delicious and expressive now, but with the potential to evolve beautifully through to 2029 and beyond. An absolute must for lovers of classic Tuscan reds.

Full flavoured and beautifully grainy & velvety throughout... this single vineyard Chianti Classico is crammed with black/red cherry fruits that power through to a warm and enveloping finish superbly juicy and tasty with remarkable length! Enjoy with hard cheeses and pasta dishes. Drinking well now through 2030. The recommended serving temperature is 15-17 degrees.
