Description

Primitivo from the San Marazno viticultural area with its thousand-year history and where its vineyards are populated by century old clones. A precious heritage combined with sixty-year-old bush vines that’s given birth to this rich, ripe and deeply concentrated wine.

Smells

Aromas of baked black fruits, dark chocolate, cedar, vanilla pods and hints of coffee grinds.

Tastes

It’s a big bold statement including the bottle, don’t drop it on your foot or it will break your toes! Ripe fruit whilst deeply scented, made in a full-bodied style with black plums, black liquorice and dark chocolate flavours captured in dusty, chewy tannins slightly taming the unctuous fruit. Perfect drinking now or till 2029 with your favourite BBQ meats.

We taste, rate & guarantee every wine we sell.
