Tempranillo, known locally as Tinto Fino in Ribera del Duero, finds powerful and expressive form in the Torres Celeste Crianza—a textbook example of the region’s rich, structured reds. Grown at a lofty 900 metres above sea level, the high elevation brings freshness and vibrancy to the wine, balancing the natural richness of the grape. Aged for a minimum of two years, including at least one year in oak, this Crianza from the 2021 vintage is already showing beautifully, with layers of dark fruit, spice, and well-integrated oak. Drink it now for its plush texture and complexity, or cellar confidently for up to 10 years. This is classic Ribera—bold, elegant, and utterly satisfying.
Smells
Deep dark berries are balanced by a touch of French oak spice, giving way to dark chocolate, ocean salty air, seaweed, and spice.
Tastes
Medium-bodied with grainy tannins leading to a great long palate length. Dried herbs, dense dark berries and savoury notes create great complexity. To be enjoyed now through to 2029+ with cured meats, stews, or savoury pasta dishes. The recommended serving temperature is 15-17 degrees.
