Fine Wine Delivery are proud to launch an exciting new Collaboration with Master of Wine Steve Smith of AONZ – who own Pyramid Valley, Smith & Sheth and Lowburn Ferry. Together, we’ve created a stunning Central Otago Pinot Noir, blended from select cuvées from their Lowburn vineyards. Crafted with care and shared vision, it’s a Pinot to enjoy now and for many vintages to come. A true Collaboration in every sense... it promises to deliver the same extraordinary varietal character, drinkability, style and excellence our Collaboration Chardonnay has done for 14-consecutive vintages! It will age nicely 5-7 years... but it’s blended to deliver significant early appeal and there’ll be a new 2025 Collaboration next year, so why wait!
Smells
Intense dark cherry, exotic spices, fragrant mountain thyme, with whisps of wood smoke.
Tastes
Elegant and very silky on the palate, it showcases the evolution of Central Otago Pinot Noir away from the fruit bombs style… into more complex and balanced wine. The finish is seamless and long, with charry French oak complementing the vibrant dark berry and cherry fruit. Abundant drinkability, each glass is better than the last. Gorgeous Central Otago Pinot Noir to enjoy with venison, duck, light game meats, or simply to drink and enjoy, between now and 2032.
