This one sits just under the Escarpment Pinot Noir in terms of quality and is made for immediate drinking. And who doesn’t love a Pinot that’s ripe for drinking? Made with the same love and attention to detail, 100% Martinborough fruit, hand-harvested, barrel-aged and bottled without filtration.
Smells
complex, savoury aromas, forest floor, cured meats, leather and spice underpin a strong core of red berry fruits.
Tastes
plush, generous fruit greets the palate, then those true to form, wonderful Escarpment tannins kick in, which are dusty and chalky giving tension and excitement. The flavours are more savoury, supporting an earlier drinking style and with good length and balance. Perfect drinking now through 2026 with your favourite game dishes. The recommended serving temperature is 13-14 degrees.
