A small cult brand that really gets the whole concept of making top Pinots that can rival the best of what Burgundy has to offer. A blend of 4 vineyards, 2 from the Upper Yarra and 2 from the lower, variety is the spice of life, and spice reigns supreme in this wine.
Smells
a heady perfume of spicy, cedar, red cherries, strawberries, and lots of whole bunch complexity and an alluring herbal undercurrent, uncharacteristic of most Australian wines.
Tastes
generous fruit initially, inherent to Pinot instantly captivates the senses, leading into vibrant, juicy red fruit flavours with that superb whole bunch herbal vein, balanced by chalky, earthy tannins.
