Description
With roots dating back to the 1990s and 2000s, Luna Estate's vineyards have long held promise — and under new ownership, that potential is finally being fully realised. This Estate Pinot Noir is a brilliant example of the winery’s new energy, offering striking value and effortless drinkability. While their top-tier single vineyard wines turn heads, this Estate Pinot brings together fruit from both the Eclipse and Blue Rock vineyards to deliver a consistently vibrant, expressive wine year after year. Crafted with serious care — including 100% French oak maturation (10% new) for over 12 months — it’s proof that premium winemaking doesn’t always come with a premium price tag. Lively, polished, and packed with personality, this Pinot punches well above its weight.
Smells
Bright red berry fruit, dried herbs, with a dark cherry influence, subtle spice, and wildflowers... an exciting aromatic moment.
Tastes
Silky and opulent with balanced ripe, plum, and raspberry, offset by dried thyme and subtle oak. Slightly dusty, chalky tannins yet providing great length in this surprisingly complex and layered Pinot. Enjoy now through 2026-2027 with Vietnamese pork dishes and other game meats. The recommended serving temperature is 13-15 degrees.
