Smells
the aromatics are vibrant and pure, blackberries, red cherries, Asian exotic spices with alluring layers of complexity.
Tastes
there is an energy that runs through the entire palate with crunchy red berry flavours of cranberries, wild raspberries and strawberries. The tannins and acid are seamlessly interwoven throughout the fruit, giving a salivating texture. A classic example of a Waipara Pinot showing vibrant fruit, complexity and well structured. Delicious drinking now with Peking Duck or roast red meats and will drink well for the next few years to come.
