Terra Sancta produces three incredibly different single vineyard Pinot Noirs designed to highlight the unique terroirs Central Otago has to offer. Even though their three single vineyard wines are produced within one sub-region, Bannockburn, these three different sites express themselves in vastly unique ways. The Jackson's Block is elegant, perfumed, and expressive, a classic example of what makes Central Otago Pinot Noir so popular all around the world. A portion of whole bunch ferment and new oak for the ageing provides a wonderful savouriness to the wine that perfectly complements the wonderful richness offered by the fruit.

Aromas of violets, rose petals, cherries, and raspberries, with dustings of cocoa and coffee giving the wine a special mocha character. There is a hint of wild thyme on the nose as well, giving an extra layer of complexity.

Wonderfully exuberant, with layers of black Doris plum, raspberry, dark cherry and spices. With beautiful fine-grained tannins and an incredibly long finish, that keeps building in the mouth, leaving a salivating, succulent aftertaste, simply wonderful. This is an excellent example of classic Central Otago Pinot Noir that will age gracefully for 6-8 years. Serve with gamey meats, Peking Duck or savoury pasta dishes.
