Čuvar, meaning "guardian" in Croatian, reflects their commitment to tradition and quality. Their Single Vineyard wines and The Iris Collection, symbolized by Croatia's national flower, the Iris, celebrate heritage, hope, courage, and valour. Dedicated to crafting great wine, protecting the planet, and enjoying the process, Sir George's legacy continues to thrive. And this 2023 Cuvar rose is a blend of North and South, Ballochdale Vineyard in Marlborough and Cornerstone Vineyard in the Gimblett Gravels, 80% Pinot Noir and 20% Syrah.

the palate is alive with raspberry creamy fruit, an energetic streak through the mid-palate finishing with a wonderfully balanced acidity and a whisper of natural fruit sweetness.
