Description
The mouthwatering & excitingly priced "Saint X Rosé 2024” from Provence has landed in NZ. Crafted under the IGP Méditerranée designation in southern France, it’s a refined expression of the region’s Mediterranean charm. Produced by Maison AIX and inspired by the Provençal spirit of elegance and ease, this rosé blends Grenache, Syrah, Cinsault, Viognier, and Rolle from sun-drenched coastal vineyards, moderated by maritime breezes.
Smells
A bright bouquet of ripe strawberry and cherry, underpinned by fresh yellow plum. The fruit is vibrant but never overbearing.
Tastes
The palate is crisp, silky, and impeccably poised. Red strawberry & cherry take centre stage… supported by subtle, juicy yellow plum and fine herbs. A fine thread of minerality brings energy and a sense of place. The finish is refreshingly DRY and enduring, a lingering impression of all things Mediterranean!
