Description
Ex-Neudorf winemaker John Kavanagh is guiding Te Kairanga back to the very top of Martinborough producers, the quality now far exceeding the wine’s modest asking price. This Gold medal winning rose highlights the virtues of the work being achieved by John and his team and indeed confirms the winery is going from strength to strength.
Smells
Aromas of a summer basket of freshly picked wild red berries, underpinned by watermelon and candyfloss.
Tastes
A gorgeous coral pink colour with flavours of strawberry, red cherry and hints of fennel and thyme. 100% Pinot Noir resulting in a beautifully fresh palate with a mouth-watering finish. The purity of fruit is sensational and made in a classical dry style that is the new Rose mode. Delicious drinking now till 2027 with smoked salmon.
