Description

As New Zealand’s first Māori-owned wine company, Tohu is a true signature of heritage, culture, and excellence. The name "Tohu" translates to "signature", while the koru symbol on the label represents growth, life, and the natural world—a reflection of the brand’s deep respect for whenua (land) and tikanga (traditions). Tohu’s commitment to respect and mana is evident in every aspect of their winemaking, producing wines that consistently deliver exceptional quality at affordable price points. It’s a rare combination that resonates with wine lovers—a true double whammy of value and distinction, embodying the essence of Aotearoa in every bottle.

Smells

Crisp aromas of pink apples, crushed cranberry, and hints of watermelon.

Tastes

A luminous pale pink colour in the glass. The vibrant palate of fresh melon and citrus is underpinned with notes of crab apple and quince. Finely balanced with soft phenolics and deliciously dry, this vibrant and fresh Rosé has a wonderfully luscious and persistent finish. Perfect with everything summer this year and next, salad, cheese, or salmon. The recommended serving temperature is 6-8 degrees.
