Smells
Lifted spicy cloves, hint of musky redskin with vanilla bean spice and faint zataar notes. Fig seed with spicy ripe red plum.
Tastes
Complex dark fruit conserve flavours of mulberry & blackberry resonate on the palate, a full bodied, robust wine with depth, power, and concentration. All underpinned by the characteristic earthy tones of the McLaren Vale. Chewy, fine grain tannins support the dark fruit, adding structure, drinkability and ageability. There is everything to like. Drinking well now through 2027 and will match with most red meats.
