Description
McLaren Vale legends, the Osborn family, have been nurturing their old vines since 1912, and their playful spirit shines through in the Stump Jump. Named after a clever plough that could “jump” over vineyard roots—and inspired by the vineyard manager’s famously poor eyesight—the label is as memorable as the wine itself. Crafted from old bush vine Grenache, Shiraz, and Mourvèdre, this GSM blend bursts with juicy red fruit, subtle spice, and perfect balance. Generous, approachable, and full of character, it’s the kind of wine that turns any midweek meal, BYO dinner, or smoky summer BBQ into an occasion to remember. Heritage, ingenuity, and pure drinking pleasure—all in one bottle.
Smells
Bright red berries of redcurrant, raspberry compote, sandalwood with hints of raisins soaked in port and a whiff of vanilla
Tastes
Juicy and plump with bright red fruit, chalky tannins, medium length, and great structure. Enjoy up to 7 years from vintage easily. If drinking within the next year, decant just prior to serving. The recommended serving temperature is 16-18 degrees.
