Leeuwin’s Art Series represents the pinnacle of their winemaking – these are iconic wines only produced in the best years. The blend is 98% Shiraz and 2% Malbec. Like many top Margaret River wines, it’s more Syrah in style than Shiraz, but the complexity and power is breath taking, with 15 to 20 years evolution in front of it.
Smells
Hints of cedar and graphite over mulberry, plum, florals and spices.
Tastes
Deep and luxurious on the palate with dark chocolate, espresso, liquorice and blackberry, the tannins are serious and sturdy but finely distributed, the finish unfurling massively and bristling with latent potential. Drink with great friends and great food between now and 2034.
