Crafted from multiple parcels of Chardonnay, each planted with diverse clones in the stony soils of the Gimblett Gravels, this wine is a beautiful expression of site and season, with each parcel adding its own unique character. Smells
Vibrant aromas of oyster shell, grapefruit and flint underpinned by white peach flesh, freshly toasted hazelnuts and brioche.
Tastes
Excellent power throughout, a wine with a precise and impressive palate. Showing notes of citrus peel, warm bread directed by a fine acid backbone, which builds and builds to a firm, long crescendo. The overall impression is mesmerising. A wine with great delineation, a true reflection of the unique Gimblett Gravels Vineyard. Drinking well from 2027 through 2030+ and will partner with fresh seafood, white meats or vegetarian dishes. The recommended serving temperature is 10-13 degrees.
