Crafted with a carefully selected mix of fruit from Rapaura & Renwick vineyards... its wild yeast fermented and aged in a mix of 20% new & seasoned older French Oak barrels for 10 months. It’s a stunning example of the depth and elegance that Marlborough can deliver whilst remaining exceptionally priced... thereby making Isabel crafted wine prowess affordable to regular wine drinkers. With a focus on balance, complexity, and site expression, this Reserve Chardonnay reflects the winemaker’s commitment is to purity & precision. Smells
A refined bouquet of white peach, lemon curd, and toasted cashew, with seductive hints of flint and crème brulée.
Tastes
The palate opens generously with ripe stone fruit and citrus zest, layered over fine toasty French oak and creamy lees influence. Richly textured with mineral freshness and drive… well-integrated acidity draws everything together. Long and focused, finishing with grilled hazelnut and peach.
