Overlooking the famous Mate's vineyard, Hunting Hill was originally planted in 1982 but replanted with Clone 15 in 2000. These days the wine has achieved global reverence, its refined style and dynamic acid line giving a Puligny Montrachet Premier Cru-like purity, juxtaposed against a creamy and generous mid-palate with a seemingly endless finish. World class (another Grand Cru quality resemblance) Chardonnay, this 2024 release is a rock-star from day one! Given 5-10 years in the bottle, it will supersede all your expectations. It will have you thinking… should I buy expensive Cru White Burgundy many times the price… or have an equal experience at a fraction of their price… the decision will be easy!

An array of complex aromas including white flowers, peach, nectarine, red apple, almond, jasmine, freshly churned butter, and vanilla, with hints of citrus and mealiness.

Supremely pure with a breathtakingly velvety texture, the wine is so confident in its expression of fruit purity, oak and elegance – perfection in fact. A rich, textural palate with chalky, salivating acidity, the superb oak will soften more into the background with a few years and be sublime.
