Hawke’s Bay Chardonnay from the outstanding 2024 vintage CLEARING Made Too Much (MTM) at an astonishing $12.99! MTM is our own “Tongue in Cheek” label we created 15-years ago to disguise surplus premium quality wines from excellent producers who had simply Made too Much. MTM wines must sit within a price range of $9.99 to $13.99. Chardonnay is the #1 White Grape in the World… no other white grape is as beautifully vulnerable to the considered influence of winemaking! It’s more expensive to make, it’s been challenging to get MTM Chardonnay of a quality at $12.99 bottle that tastes like you paid much more for it. Over 15-years of MTM wines… this 2024 Hawke’s Bay is the first Chardonnay to make the cut, we rejected many in that time. The winery simply Made Too Much, in a bountiful 2024 year for their more premium label. There are creamy elements from malolactic ferment and lees stirring and the fruit is excellent. We can’t mention the winery or the wine this would normally go into, but we believe it will be the finest $12.99 Chardonnay you’ve ever enjoyed. 5/5 - I've ordered 'Made too Much' wines previously and always been pleased with what I received, and this Chardonnay is no different. In fact, compared to some of the reds this is better. Very pleased... I am not a connoisseur but know what I like, and this is better than some Chardonnay’s I’ve had that cost twice as much. Murray

Ripe citrus and peach with hints of hazelnut, vanilla, cream… the aromas are charming.
Tastes
Plump juicy stone fruit leading to fine ripe citrus with a delicious toasty thread. It’s creamy centre and subtle vanilla tick all the boxes for Chardonnay drinkers. Fresh and focused on the finish with a pleasant biscuity insinuation… you’ll enjoy it’s easy, moreish palate. And the astonishing price allows you to make it your delicious Monday-Friday Chardonnay. Preheat the oven to 180 and butter up the roast chicken – it’s only going to fatten out month to month over the next 1-2 years!
