This Chardonnay makes use of old-world techniques, including wild fermentation and lees stirring to create wines of richness and intrigue, none more so than this latest 2023 Main Divide Chardonnay.
Smells
Lashing of apricot and peach aromas giving way to flinty, struck match notes.
Tastes
The palate has good concentration, length and poise with a refreshing acid vein that invigorates the tastebuds. A wonderfully creamy, buttery texture balanced by a long, flinty finish with hints of fennel and ginger, this Chardonnay is highly complex but also highly enjoyable. Best between now and 2029.
