Typically unoaked, intended for easy drinking and suitable for every occasion. Moillard Macon-Villages 2023 is a well-priced Macon that will simply knock your socks off, especially if you’ve not tried it before. Regrettably... we only have 168 bottles, which won’t last long. Fabulous Festive Season & Summer Chardonnay enjoyment!
Smells
Classic aromas of peaches and cream with brioche and fresh vanilla pods.
Tastes
Juicy, rounded peachy fruit with brioche and vanilla lees complexities. Almost New World like in structure, especially an unoaked Chardonnay, yet with a minerality and texture that differentiates White Burgundy. The long salivating, chalky finish is cleansing and invigorating to the palate. Drinking well now through 2028, serve with cheese, quiche or salads. The recommended serving temperature is 9-11 degrees.
