Description
Founded in 1996 by winemaker Stuart Pym and Janice McDonald, Stella Bella Wines quickly established itself in southern Margaret River with a spirited sense of identity and place. Their first vintage, including the early Suckfizzle Sauvignon Blanc Semillon, flowed from the Suckfizzle vineyard in 1997. The winery now operates across multiple vineyard sites, primarily in the pristine, cool-climate southern Margaret River, combining estate-grown fruit with select contract sourcing to deliver both breadth and depth in their offerings.
Smells
A compelling bouquet of oyster shell minerality, pink grapefruit, lightly toasted almonds and a chalky struck match flint.
Tastes
A textured powerhouse, vibrant citrus intensity unfolds in layers of grapefruit, pink grapefruit, kaffir lime, and lemon curd, beautifully woven with nectarine freshness. Exceptionally focused and soaring to a long, resonant finish. This wine pulses with energy, its precise acidity and layered textures promising graceful development with cellaring over the next decade or more. Enjoy from 2026 through to 2032+. Perfect with seafood and soft cheese.
