Sourced from a single vineyard on Nelson’s famed Moutere Clays—New Zealand’s unofficial Chardonnay capital—this wine is rich with ripe stone fruit, toasted almonds, and elegant layers of new French oak. The result is a beautifully textured, creamy Chardonnay with a lingering, luxurious finish. Pure indulgence at a very smart price.
Smells
Biscuity lees influence and stone fruit, vanilla, and flint.
Tastes
Ripe peaches and grapefruit with hazelnut and toasty nuances. Creamy, mealy, and long, with a vibrant acid line. A classy Chardonnay from start to finish, it will be great with roast pork (don’t forget the apple sauce) between now and 2028. The recommended serving temperature is 10-13 degrees.
