NZ's first 'egg' made Chardonnay in NZ, these concrete egg fermenters are represented on the beautiful label. This creates a textural and rich Chardonnay with excellent purity. Handpicked fruit from the Mendoza clone, this is a magnificent Chardonnay and it's getting a cult following, you'll only see it in the finest restaurants and it's never on our shelves for long - this is a stellar release.

Smells

purity of fruit aromas is what strikes you initially; peach, nectarine, brioche and citrus peel.

Tastes

mouth-filling juicy peachy upfront fruit which is enticing with a creamy texture, salivating acidity and a long warm finish. Roast a juicy, plump chicken, potatoes and fennel and crack a bottle, superb combo. The recommended serving temperature is 10-13 degrees.
