Description
Soave may be known for light, easy-drinking whites—but every rule has its exception, and this is the ultimate one. Suavia have resurrected the nearly forgotten Trebbiano di Soave variety, showcasing its true character and potential in spectacular fashion. Grown on the black volcanic soils of Veneto and crafted with precision and care, this wine is anything but typical. The result? A rich, textural, and deeply complex white that surprises at every sip. With layers of ripe stone fruit, citrus oil, almond, and savoury minerality, it bears little resemblance to the lighter styles Soave is often known for. Massifitti is a revelation—distinctive, elegant, and truly memorable. If you're seeking a white with depth, texture, and authenticity, this is a must-try.
Smells
aromas of almond kernels, shortbread, ripe peach skins, beeswax, and orange blossom.
Taste: This wine is about concentration and salivating texture, restrained flavours keep you striving to find descriptives; almonds, rock melon and lemon zest spring to mind, but the texture is alluring and compelling. A rich, oily palate that is chiselled by the lemon and grapefruit, zesty long finish. Drinking well over the next 5-6 years. One bottle will not be enough, and I bet it will become you go to wine. Perfect with seafood and even pork belly. The recommended serving temperature is 8-10 degrees.
