Crafted from hand-picked fruit across four exceptional Central Otago vineyards, including the family’s own Mt Maude site, this Pinot Gris is anything but ordinary. Sixty percent of the juice sings with bright, pure fruit from stainless steel fermentation, while the other forty is foot-stomped and nurtured in seasoned oak barriques, layering in texture and intrigue. The result? A luscious, full-bodied, off-dry style brimming with spice, stone fruit, and complexity. This is Pinot Gris with swagger, personality, and true X-Factor.
Smells
Lovely honeysuckle florals, mingling with spiced apple tart, pear, and ginger.
Tastes
Succulent rounded and full-bodied with beautifully rich pear, and peach fruit energising the long, off-dry, spicy finish. A serious Pinot Gris from this outstanding boutique Otago winery that is drinking well now but will reward cellaring up until 2027+. Try with pork, summer salads and cheese. The recommended serving temperature is 7-9 degrees.
