2024 is the 4th consecutive McArthur Ridge Falls Dam Pinot Gris to rake in the Gold Medals & 5 Star Awards. 2024 has just been awarded Gold + a huge 95/100 at Decanter World Wine Awards (World’s Equal Toughest Wine Show) placing it in the Top 3% of wines Globally from 18,000+ wines reviewed. There’ll be more Gold’s & potential Trophies to follow. FWD Tasting Panel was also moved to give it 95/100… but we do have a historic liking for this scintillating Pinot Gris. It is named after the Falls Dam, the reservoir that delivers pure glacial waters, contributing to McArthur Ridge vineyards exceptional vibrancy. Located in the heart of an unforgiving mountainous region in Central Otago, the cool climate and gently sloping Brassknocker soils combine to create what some consider to be amongst the finest vineyards in the world for growing Pinot Noir & Gris! There is no doubt there is “Magic” in McArthur Ridge Vineyard… further magicked by World Champion Pinot Noir Winemaker, Matt Connell. This 2024 Pinot Gris is beautifully concentrated showcasing the vitality & purity of its glacial environment. Enjoy now, but it is age worthy through 2029+.

Fine floral aromas giveaway to freshly cut limes & apples, plus white peach and spices.
Tastes
A vibrant, pure palate of stonefruit layered with fresh lime and subtle lemon laced with mineral freshness. Elegant and textural throughout, the lengthy finish has a juicy freshly cut apple vitality and finishes DRY with a refreshing smidgen of sweetness. Enjoy now until 2029 with seafood, chicken and soft cheese. Also, incredibly refreshing and flavoursome by itself. Best served between 7 - 9c.
