Fruit for the 2024 Toi Toi New Zealand Pinot Gris was sourced from 4 premium growing regions across New Zealand, Marlborough, Nelson, Waipara and Hawke’s Bay. Toi Toi’s regional diversity has resulted in a wine rich in aromas and flavours and the outstanding 2024 season has produced a wine of density and weight. They picked the grapes when the flavours were at their optimum, ensuring the preservation of the fruit flavours in the wine. The juice was fermented in both stainless steel and a small portion was put into 500-litre puncheons and were allowed to ferment naturally. Post fermentation the batches were blended and left on light lees. Regular stirring imparted a creamy richness and round mouth feel. Ripe, crisp and a pure expression of Pinot Gris. The aromas are mirrored on the palate finishing with a long, creamy note of nougat. Smooth and alive, medium weight with a round mouth feel. Finishing fresh, fruity, and perfectly balanced. Drinking now through 2027 with canapes or seafood dishes. The recommended serving temperature is 6-8 degrees.
