Description

Their first release of 2024 Pinot Gris flew off the shelves, but luckily for all of us, they’ve secured a second parcel—and it’s every bit as impressive. Crafted by NZ Winemaker of the Year 2020, Jen Parr, this stunning Pinot Gris hails from an organically farmed single vineyard in Gibbston, one of Central Otago’s coolest sub-regions. The long ripening period here allows the grapes to develop incredible flavour concentration, naturally high acidity, and beautifully balanced structure. Fermented slowly in stainless steel over five weeks, then matured on lees for an additional eight, this dry-style Pinot Gris is textural, vibrant, and bursting with finesse. The 2024 growing season offered ideal conditions, and it shows in every glass. Elegant, refined, and irresistibly drinkable—this will not stick around for long. Secure yours now or risk missing out… again.

Smells

Aromas of warm nashi pears, white lilies, quince, with a dash of cinnamon and rose.

Tastes

A rich, creamy palate with honeysuckle, rock melon and nectarine flavours giving interesting nuances that keep you pondering and where more and more descriptives pop into your head with each sip. A dry style that has richness to balance with a cleansing, warm finish, very satisfying. Perfect drinking this summer with roast chicken and friends. The recommended serving temperature is 6-8 degrees.
