Grown on the lower terrace of Askerne Vineyard, bunches were selected for a moderate botrytis infection. Ensuring an opulent and exotic dessert wine that captures the perfume and richness of perfectly ripened Gewürztraminer. Crafted in an exceptional Hawke’s Bay vintage, this wine is a celebration of intensity, balance, and texture.
Smells
A heady bouquet of rose petal, lychee, honeyed apricot, and candied ginger, interwoven with hints of musk, spice, and orange blossom.
Tastes
Lusciously sweet yet finely poised, the palate overflows with tropical fruit, marmalade and Turkish delight, balanced by a bright line of citrus acidity that keeps the finish clean and refreshing. The mouthfeel is silken and sumptuous, with layers of fruit and spice unfolding in perfect harmony.
