Description
Never has this elite winery had to discount or CLEAR their stunning wines in this globally depressed market, even wineries of this stature and quality are not immune. Expensively packaged in keeping with its quality and brand stature, it’s a Sauvignon lover’s DREAM bargain… high street quality at supermarket pricing! Utterly delicious! You know the drill… buy on trust and when it arrives with you it will be wearing its REAL label, which you’ll instantly recognise. GOOGLE it to see your savings.
Smell: Restrained aromatics, speaks more of a European style, with aromas of dried lemon peel, hints of ripe gooseberries, guava and quince with a saline, chalky thread.
Tastes: This wine is about texture and structure, a far cry from your average Marlborough Savvy, rather a delicious wine with an excellent balance of fruit concentration and length with poise and class, a very stylish drop. Restrained flavours with lemon and green fruits but it’s the mouthfeel and long finish that completely impresses the taste buds, making for a stunning drinking dry white wine that speaks of the vineyard rather than the variety. Superb drinking now through 2028 and will partner well with salads, seafood or pasta. For optimal drinking pleasure the recommended serving temperature is 7-10 degrees.
