Seresin Estate, a pioneer of biodynamic and organic winemaking in Marlborough, crafts wines with soulful precision and textural depth. This 2023 Sauvignon Blanc continues their tradition of minimal intervention, wild fermentations, and judicious use of a small parcel of Semillon to add depth, complexity and roundness. 10% is fermented in old, seasoned oak barrels… and both barrel & tank fermented components are aged on lees creating mouthfeel and textural richness. An outstanding reflection of both place and philosophy, it captures the coastal brightness of Marlborough while weaving in understated complexity – a Sauvignon with depth, sophistication and generosity.
Smells
Rich aromas of passionfruit cheesecake, lemon basil and orange citrus and a hint of anise.
Tastes
The palate is finely textured with richly woven layers of tropical fruit and additional citrus characters. A dash of textural creaminess creates complexity and engaging mouthfeel… with salivating acidity and a hint of saline freshness drawing you back to the glass for more. Enjoy now through to 2026
