If someone undertook an arduous search of all show/critics’ records going back 20-years… I suspect Two Rivers Convergence would emerge as the most decorated 5 Star Savvy of all. Please keep a bottle of Two Rivers Convergence Sauvignon Blanc 2025 on hand to show that person what they’ve been missing. This is a gloriously serious wine, the aromatics are a devastating perfume of such complexity and gravitas that your average supermarket Sauvignon drinker would scarcely recognise this as the same thing. Mercifully, it's very well priced given its scintillating quality - get your 6-pack (or 2) before this 5 x 5 Star 2025 is a sell out too!
Smells
Amazingly pure and sophisticated bouquet of kiwifruit, white chocolate, elderflower and citrus zest with a playful addition of grapefruit and flinty, mineral notes.
Tastes
Beautifully detailed, concentrated and elegant flavours… layered with a basket of red and green apples and tropical fruits like guava, passionfruit, melon. Wine with volume, power and poise, it's simply a stunning! Marlborough Sauvignon that will make a believer out of nearly anyone who stumbles on it. Enjoy with fresh seafood between now and 2027. The recommended serving temperature 6-8 degrees.
