Dry River Wines

Understanding the Dry River philosophy is important to understanding the wines. The philosophy has been developed over 36 years since Dr Neil McCallum established Martinborough's first vines and has been refined through Wilco Lam and Ant McKenzie's latter-day tenure under Julian Robertson's ownership. The philosophy is "to produce wines of optimal phenolic ripeness with ripe fruit flavours and modest alcohol levels that faithfully reflect the site and vintage." Mature vines, low cropping levels
