Exclusive to Fine Wine Delivery – The Glasgow Distillery Co. embraces the pioneering spirit and name of Scotland’s first licensed distillers. In 1770, The Glasgow Distillery Company was founded at Dundashill and remained active until consequent closure at the beginning of the 20th Century. Fast forward to 2014 where The Glasgow Distillery Company re-opened becoming the first Single Malt Whisky Distillery in Glasgow for over 100 years.
Banditti Club – Spiced Rum, by Glasgow Distillery is made using rum distilled from the Island of Madeira. Banditti is aged in and spiced for 12 months in Oak Casks using a selection of fresh tropical fruit, exotic spices including pineapple, orange, cacao and allspice. This is truly a handcrafted spirit of the highest order with no added sugar, colouring or artificial flavour – expect unctuous warm notes of natural sweetness, baking spice, pineapple, orange, clove and anise that lead to a long spicy finish.
