The base rum is from Trinidad and Tobago and much like KFC has a secret proprietary blend of herbs and spices. The Kraken is named after a mythical (we hope) sea creature that used to pull ships beneath the ocean. There's even a smartphone game available through the app store that you can play while you're enjoying it. What will they think of next?
Smells
rich aromatics of vanilla, toffee apples with dark baking spices and fresh lime skin.
Tastes
Thick and tarry with molasses flavours, golden syrup, cinnamon and nutmeg, complimented by wood char notes. The secret herbs give a delightfully long and spicy edge to the finish.
