Description

Before there was the amazing Writers Tears, Irish Pot still whiskey, there was The Irishman small batch Irish whiskey, Founders Reserve. This oh so soft Irish charmer has been crafted using a unique vatting of 70% aged single malt and 30% single pot still Whiskey. All has been expensively triple distilled for extra purity and smoothness. Jim Murray's Whiskey Bible gave it a very high 93/100 and it has also won gold at the Irish whiskey Masters Competition. The Founder Bernard Walsh is determined to put Irish pot still whiskey back at the top of the world where it once was in the mid 19th century. It deserves to be back there when it's this incredible.

Smells

Fragrant notes of green apple and honey give way to hints of white pepper and spice.

Tastes

a rich and glorious mouthfeel with crackling pot still fruit flavours slathered in spiced butterscotch with vanilla and cinnamon. A very long finish and well balanced. Style: Smooth, Fruity and Light

We taste, rate & guarantee every wine we sell.
