Using single malt whisky from Clynelish in the Highlands as the base, JW Gold Label Reserve is a superbly rich and decadent whisky with flavours of toffee, honey, vanilla and heather with nutmeg and floral notes showing through too. An easy drinking whisky in a classic style.
Smells
strong notes of caramel with touches of nutmeg and other baking spices, manuka honey with a delightful herbal note, heather and dried spring flowers underpinned by banana.
Tastes
a sublimely smooth and succulent palate showing that typical Johnnie Walker sweetness. The florals are abundant with vanilla and spices on the finish.
