A couple of months ago the Fine Wine Team were lucky enough to try the Palmer & Co NV and it simply knocked our socks off. Now we are tasting their 2012 Vintage Champagne and seriously wow, wow and wow. If your budget allows you to spend a little more, vintage Champagne is always worth the added expense because it is made from the top 20% of vineyards of the entire region of Champagne. And in the case of Palmer & Co all their vineyards are all Premier or Grand Cru, the crème de la crème of the region. And on top of this it’s from the exceptional vintage year of 2012. If you have a wedding, an anniversary, a birth or just because you want to taste something heavenly, this is the Champagne for you….

a pronounced bouquet of pear, white peach, brioche, smoky notes and spicey hints of vanilla and cinnamon.

A blend of 54% Chardonnay and 46% Pinot Noir and aged on lees for 6 years has produced a full-bodied yet elegant wine with stone fruits, a creaminess in the mid-palate and notes of apple tartan, finishing with roasted nuts. Perfectly balanced, complex, seductive, and elegant. Nothing short of sensational. Drink now, who can wait. Perfect by itself or with anything else fine and sophisticated.
