Description
Nautilus is a wonderfully rich and fascinating Methode Traditionnelle, spending 36 months ageing on lees in bottle, it is up there with the very best Non-Vintage Champagnes and gives Nautilus extraordinary character, a very fine bead and creamy mousse.
Smells
A complex nose of lemon and orange zest, green apples and apricots with toasty oat notes.
Tastes
Long and layered, ripe citrus, berries and stonefruit... toasted nuts and developed autolysis characters lead into a long luscious finish with crisp acidity. Great on its own but even better with fresh Bluff oysters.
